The following is a nice list of common oxymorons in our literature. Note that the list is not compiled by me and does not reflect my opinion. The following is an excerpt of an article published on the web. Accuracy of usage is also not guaranteed. The dictionary defines an 'oxymoron' as a combination of contradictory terms.
